My mom lives with my brother out of town so when she is able to come back to visit we are very happy to spend time with her.
This Friday she was here and it also happened to be Grandparent’s Day at the girl’s school.
The girl’s wanted to make their own lunches and hers. (We used the EasyLunchbox containers that I recently won from A Life in Bloom.)
I showed the girls all of my lunch making supplies and Gizmo decided we should make their lunches with our bunny rabbit cookie cutters.
It’s Sabra traditional flavored hummus spread on tortillas, tomatoes and a little more hummus on lettuce for dipping the carrots into.
My older daughter had peanut butter and jelly on tortilla with carrots and a little extra peanut butter for dipping. (She wanted an extra colorful bunny went a little overboard with the food safe markers before I realized!) Grapes and cut up apples that I added in the morning were included in both lunches. Because it was a special day I made Isa’s vegan chocolate cake cupcakes for us to all share.
This is the lunch wrap we made for my mom. It’s Sabra hummus with endive lettuce and tomatoes. The kid added We Love you using food save markers.
We got to have our lunch outside of the school on little picnic tables.
