Last year I lost a good amount of weight- I even reached the goal weight that I had given myself.
That’s fantastic and yes, I was really proud of that achievement.
That being said I’ve gotten a teeny bit complacent about working out and staying on track with my eating habits lately. By lately I mean since around Thanksgiving.
I talked about it with a couple other ladies that feel like they’ve done the same thing.
We started out really well,we might have even met our goals but our healthy lifestyle train got off track somehow.
I honestly don’t know why- I do however, know that I have this habit of getting very excited about a project and then eventually losing all interest in that project.
Squid thy name is fickle,if is,I know it.
Granted, I don’t want to view a healthy lifestyle as a project. I’m making a promise now,and yeah I’m making it online because I crave accountability, to start making changes.
I’m promising (myself) to import workouts into my life,at least three times a week.
I’m going to look at what we are eating and see how I can tweak it to make it better.
We do pizza night every Friday and I don’t really want to change that- but I do want to go back to also making a big salad to go with that pizza. It’s something that worked really well for me before.
I need to drink more water,I am horrible at doing this!
And as much as Gizmo loves baking I think that any kitchen time for her would still keep her happy so…..I’m seriously considering cutting out tge baked goods besides the occasional birthday cake or banana bread when our produce turns mushy. We might try making yogurt parfaits, jello or pudding instead.
It’s just a few things that don’t seem like a big deal but I really feel like they could make a lot of difference.
I’d also love to share my progress on this every Tuesday.
Are you dealing with getting back on a healthy track lifestyle too? I’d love to hear(read) about it so feel free to guide me over to where you’re sharing your journey too!
