I sent my sketchbook journal off on it’s way this Saturday. The moment was bittersweet for me.
As worried as I had been that it wouldn’t get finished in time, I was really happy about finishing it.
But it was finished, and so was the daily habit of drawing in it which I had grown to love.
That’s ok because I’ve decided to get a blank art journal as soon as I am able. I can’t wait.
Meanwhile I’ve been looking at other’s submissions,(Wow,really great stuff out there) something I wouldn’t let myself do before. And that was probably a good idea. I’ve had some ideas of what I’d change if I did this project again next year- but I didn’t want to be too influenced on this my first time.
