I quite possibly do all sorts of things that annoy my husband a great deal. I know that is shocking to hear but it’s true. It’s also all his fault. You see he works from home. All day long he is here. ALL DAY LONG. And I love that, of course I do.
Because it gives me the opportunity to have fun with him.
Cough, I should remind everyone that I have small children at home all day long too and to get your mind outta the gutter. Okay, so maybe only my mind went there- it has been known to happen that my thoughts linger to other things when I’m trying to make a point.
The fact of the matter is though that if he worked out of the house I’d probably get more done during the day. Instead I waste a lot of my time trying to come up with ways to annoy him. So my unproductivity rests solely on his shoulders. Way to kill my homemaking aspirations Goblin King!
But anyway,I read Mama Kat’s prompt this week and I knew right away what the one thing I do that drives my husband crazy would be. I asked him just to make sure and he agreed. Well actually he said “Wait just one thing?” and I bopped him but after that he agreed with what I was thinking.
I sing.
I don’t sing well at all but that doesn’t stop me. I do it all the time. And when I’m having a bad day? I sing all day long and loudly.
Usually to something ridiculously high pitched that even people who have some singing ability would have trouble singing to. When I was a teenager I used to lock myself in my room blast my Kurt Cobain and sing along til I was hoarse.
But now? I have my own house so I sing in every room all I want, including my husband’s office.
Sigh, but he loves it really- no matter what he says, how he complains or tries to foolishly lock his office door. Because not one of the locks on our inside doors have ever worked correctly and he knows it.
(Attached below is a clip of me singing…I’m kidding I would Never do that to y’all!)

I must say, I sing too! I usually only sing in the car, and it’s quite loud and horrific, but it makes me happy. No matter what song is on…the hubs never sings along. Sometimes that makes me crazy! Enjoyed your post!

I can’t sing in the car anymore, I always catch a driver looking over and it makes me stop right away.
See how lucky my husband is to have this “gift” all to himself? Lol

I imagine it would be pretty fun to think of annoying things to do all day long.
I wish I was brave enough to sing loudly out loud. I compensate by getting really annoyed at those who do =)

Note to self: never sing to Racheal loudly. Got it
Sometimes the girls and I play
“musical” where we sing to each other all morning instead of speaking…good times, good times
