I love Tabata routines


Here lately I’ve gotten a couple of tweets urging me to try a routine called  the Crystallized Tabata Training Challenge. I was curious so I checked out the site and gave the routine a try tonight. I was feeling sluggish but I said I would try it so I did.

I used the online Tabata timer on beachfitness.com. Before when I was doing the Self routine I used the IPhone/Ipod app from Gymboss(which I loved and thought was super convenient) but I killed my Ipod the last time we took a walk and this was a pretty good substitute. FYI- If your IPod or IPhone screen is cracked and you don’t have pockets….don’t try to carry it in your waistband especially in 102 degree weather. Sigh. But, Yay for  free timers, am I right? :)

I liked the routine, and I liked that it was only four minutes and only two moves. Mountain climbers and a Squat to Shoulder Press. Thank you Lord there were no burpees,lol.

  My times were not as awesome as Crystal’s(obviously) but they were alright…I’d try to beat them if I do this again.

I’ll definitely do better next time…I’m my favorite competition. :) This is a good routine to get you awake it lasted my sluggishness out the window. This is always a good thing for me. I’m often sluggish or on my ay to feeling sluggish.
