This is the first time I’ve ever done the Sketchbook Project. I’m really excited about it.The theme I choose is “You’d be home by now”. If you notice the picture of the page with a child drawing on the wall, that was not planned. My daughter got a hold of my notebook and decided to add her contribution. It was lucky for me that I’m basing my sketchbook on ways that I view a home, because I was able to turn her picture into something that looked intentional.

I added some pages to my Sketchbook project notebook last night. I had drawn these before, but I actually colored them in last night. I may be stretching the “you’d be home by now” theme a little , but that’s allowed so I’m sure it will be ok. All the images relate to the theme in my head anyway. All of the girls faces are made from torn pages that flip into the next page. I may have to re-enforce them with clear tape for durability during the tour.
