(Almost) Wordless Wednesday

Sometimes I’m I fall asleep before everyone else and wake up to surprises.

These form a line from our living room, down the hallway and into the girl’s bedroom.
I could move them but they waited in line all night for something and it seems kind of mean to make them lose their places. Also I’m really curious to know what they’re waiting in line for….I’m guessing a Krispy Kreme grand opening. In which case my heakthy eating post was really ill timed…

Wordless Wednesday:Kid Craft

Am I the only one who has trouble spelling Wednesday without spellcheck?

And now that my defencies have been acknowdeged I give you my (nearly) Wordless Wednesday, a little project the girls worked on yesterday that kept them from reaching “We’ve been stuck inside WAY  too long because of the heat, being sick and momma being sick” meltdown.

I like how it come out, just traced the girls onto brown paper, let them paint color and glue to their heart’s content. I’m considering laminating them or using clear varnish, want them to stay around for a long time. :)

Mural Love

My husband and I have been busy lately. We have been working on a mural for my nephew and his girlfriend’s nursery. It’s the first time that we’ve ever worked on a mural together. I was a little worried about how our styles would merge(my husband is decidedly a cleaner rtist then I am) but I was also excited.

We finished our project today and we had a blast(most of the time ;) working together. We love our family time but it’s also been great for us to have a little time to just ourselves.   We are even talking about doing this again sometime. The girls are getting older and when they are in school we’d be able to do this alot easier. I thought I’d share the progress of the mural from beginning to end.

P.S: Thank you Anna and Brian for the opportunity!
