Basic info: I’m a mother first of all. I have two beautiful daughters-My eldest,Cat the kid is 7. She’s A GT kid who loves reading, playing Just Dance and drawing. She wants to be a teacher/photographer when she grows up or possibly a video game tester. My youngest,Coco is 6 and has a natural grace to her that I wish I had too.(I’m a huge klutz so I don’t know where she gets it!) She draws pretty much all day long and loves to dance and spin until she pretty much falls over. She’s also a huge animal lover, loves to cook with me and wants to be a Barbie designer when she grows up unless she becomes a chef which would be fun too she says.
Cat the kid:
This is Coco, formally known as Gizmo because she hates that name now.
I’m married to a work from home artist from England. I’m unbelievably proud of his talent too. His talent is what first drew me to him. He’s a studmuffin, also he hates when I call him that. (Which is obviously why I just did that.) I also sometimes refer to him as the Goblin King, because he’s cool like David Bowie or something like that.
You can see him create artwork on youtube, this is one of my favorite videos of his, but they are all pretty fantastic:
I’m an artist too, although it’s been really hard for me to ever call myself that. I love to paint and draw, craft and create….it gives me alot of happiness-so I’m going to call myself an artist. I can do that because this is my blog.;)
I began making fun lunches or bentos this year and I’m loving it. I’m able to be creative which food which makes something that I have to do anyway fun for me. The kids get a kick out of it and it doesn’t really take much longer than a plain lunch would take me. We try to eat vegan as much as possible( although my oldest likes to have cheese occasionally) and my youngest has a pretty bad dairy allergy so I bake a lot of what we eat and packing a lunch works out best for us. Now if you haven’t heard of the word bento I’d be very surprised, it’s a pretty wide spread trend but just in case:
My blog: I’ve been blogging since September of 2010.
What will you find here? Honestly mostly randomness but occasionally I’ll stick to things like art with littles, being vegan and snippets of our life in general.
I hope to see you around and often!
